BIOGRAPHY OF NTHABEE

24 years old NTHABISENG ULENDA MORENA better known to her adoring fans as NTHABEE is a versatile singer song writer and actor from MUTHUTLUNG but currently lives in MAMELODI

Her love for music started when she was doing her grade nine in 2013, at first she wasn’t aware of her ability to sing until her friends told her she could, after she sang KESHIA WHITE‘s witness in me and she has been singing ever since ,

Some of her musical influences and inspiration include the likes of Amanda black SIMMY and AMI FAKU just to name a few.

In 2015 she was part of group called UDUMO Entertainers where she did drama, dance and music and it was through that experience that really cemented her love for theater and music

In 2020 she became part of a company called CREATIVE EDUCATION where she taught primary and secondary school curriculum through theatre and music at schools, it was during that time that she released a song titled ‘’ UTHANDO’’ with a group called BUCKSPANDA

In that same year she joint SLYJAYNEXT MULTIMEDIA where she released her debut single titled

‘’ I LIKE’’ produced by TST which she has performed alongside acts like:

DIVALASH, MAKHADZI, PENCIL, TEAM DELELA, PRINCE TEE, LEO LEE , DJ OBZA, AMON MOKOENA, DJ ARCH JNR, VUSI MA R5.

PRODIGY

Oxford dictionary defines '"PRODIGY" as a young person with exceptional qualities or abilities. This is true about Nthabee, she is constantly raising the bar for herself and her peers. Her latest offering is a beautiful bold statement saying “I’m here to stay", this sophomore EP is called PRODIGY with six unskipable tracks touching on party life, relationship issues, hopes and dreams continuing the theme from her previous project "AMAKHIYA". When you listen to this EP you get sense of this broad epic theme "a story line" that ties tight all the songs into one emotional groove. Nthabee is really eloquent and very expressive when singing about love, relationships and all other things. Notable here is the level of maturity when approaching each topic, using her voice to emphasize the emotions. PRODIGY is undoubtedly an exceptional body of work, from her sublime sometimes cheeky low registering mezzo-soprano vocals to the slapping beats and featured artists you definitely can jam to this in a club or on a long drive with your partner, it's that "versatile".
