BIOGRAPHY OF PRINCE TEE

Tebogo Taboko Maisela well known as Prince Tee

Is originally from Limpopo, Ga-Mmanotoane and now resides in Pretoria soshanguve.

Prince tee started his music journey in the entertainment industry in 2004 with a gospel album shortly after performing for the first time at a wedding he attended at home.

‘’I have not left my royal birthright, all I can say is that music is in my veins”, he said. Prince tee is not only just an artist but a future king of the Ga-Mmanotoane village just outside polokwane.

In 2015, he decided to switch from gospel to house music, he then released two singles titled “Charisma” and “Dubai”. His first major performance was at the Kasie Festival by DR MALINGA in Hammanskral in 2015. Followed by the Maun Botswana celebration music festival in Botswana.

Prince tee has also performed during the Pretoria derby between Mamelodi Sundowns and Super Sports United at Lucas Moripe Stadium .

In 2020, he started to work with TEAM DELELA and LEO LEE and released two hot EPs titled “Dangerous Forest” and “Bapedi”. “Prince tee is an artist with no specific genre, whatever sounds good to my ears, I go to the studio and kill it,” he said.

In 2021 he joined Slyjaynext Multimedia.

He released two music videos directed by Sly jay for the songs “Ngwanona” featuring TEAM DELELA and “Dikgomo” featuring LEON LEE and DJ KATZEN

Both music videos received high rotation on channel O and MTV base.

In October he released two projects titled “Meropa ya lla” and “Bophelo”, Afro tech and Amapiano respectively.

PRINCE TEE serves up a topical Affair with his subject matter on each song from a love/relationship topic to societal issues, manhood and spirituality, he has a way of addressing issues without being “preachy” and judgmental while making you dance with his hard heavily bass’d heavily synthesized dance beats with traditional elements.
PRINCE TEE owned and represented himself and the ba-PEDI people on this project with only one feature on the entire project this definitely let’s us know that he is serious about his craft.
