SLYJAY

Tenyeko Johannes Sibanyoni also known as SLYJAY Born in Winterveldt in 1988 April 26
and grew up in Soshanguve, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.
he started his music career writing poems at an early age during his middle school years,
he started his Rap Journey this was around 2004 while attending his grade 10 At
Soshanguve Technical high but realizing how expensive it was to book for studio times he
decided to venture in establishing a recording studio, he would work on material with his
friend in a kitchen home studio using a dynamic microphone, with stalking used as a pop
filter, his favourite software was Frooty Loops studio-3 and Cubase sx3 at the time
When everyone around him started becoming producers he saw a need for artists
management, that was when the studio idea turned in to a record label.
2007 after matriculating he then moved to in with his Grand parents where he pursued a
career in Information Technology still pushing music and started another movement that
also involved hip-hop dance groups that landed him as a choreographer.
Then formed a partnership that let him registering his first official record label NEXT
PRODUCTION which collapsed 2013/4 then decided in 2015 to register his His own
private company Slyjaynext Multimedia, which Produced a Movie Titled: THE CURSE
written by Mpho Mokatile, he also formed a clothing line titled: 1me Clothing which pushed
to height of being worn by a tv presenters on the SABC 1 show Mi Kasi Su Kasi, later on
SLYJAY decided to shelve company to go and form another 50/50 partnership company
named Thatha Entertainment, which he then left in 2017/8 to now focus back on his
company.
Slyjaynext multimedia which is a multimedia company operating across the country
SLYJAY is a DJ and a film maker shooting music videos for various famous and Upcoming artists
Slyjaynext Multimedia Did projects with the likes of Big Boss Entertainment, DJ Tira,
Malungelo, Nokwazi, Tbos, Aymos, Afrotraction, Mitlo, blaklez, Mapara A Jazz, just to
name a few
SLYJAY has been deejaying and releasing music with other artists under the radar for over
five years
His latest single titled “Se Siyafika” features heartbeats and kha-ching vocals, he is
currently working on more projects and hoping to reach more heights in his Entertainment
career.
